At W.H.Crossley we are proud of our heritage. Originally established in 1820 as a firm of tinsmiths we have developed and prospered throughout the massive economic and technological changes of the last two centuries.

In the present day we are proud of the reputation we have achieved as sophisticated, versatile, contemporary metal fabricators. The tradition of quality craftsmanship begun by our founders continues with our technology-based engineering operation where we manufacture highly specialized, close tolerance products and components made to customers´ individual specifications.

Operating from two sites in the North West of England and with high volume capacity, we offer a total service in custom-made fabrications in a wide range of metals and forms. We work closely with our customers to ensure service excellence from enquiry to delivery.

Our CNC production facilities are linked to CAD/CAM packages, supported by highly skilled and certified welders, and all job progress is monitored by computerised production control systems. We maintain the highest quality standards throughout every aspect of our operations and are certified to ISO 9001:2000 by the Rail Industries certification Body. We provide committed, reliable support to every project with which we are associated.
